Daniel Dhal

Amateur photographer since 1960, I have been bathed since my childhood in the cultures of the world and the curiosity of elsewhere. I started out on film, without a light meter, autofocus or stabilizer of course. This allowed me to learn about light, to fully appreciate the pitfalls of luminosity and colors, skies, clouds, light, or fog. Light transforms the banal into magic.

When I was able to buy a Nikkormat, I went from amateur to semi-professional freelancer in press conference reports in magazines like Entreprises, Savoir des Arts, then in advertising as well as books on architecture in particular .

I shared photography in photo clubs in the Paris region and then in the Alpes de Haute Provence. The notion of reporting allowed me to be very fast and to be sensitive to the present moment to capture the best moment of an expression. This fleeting moment allowed me to have an advantage on the speed of shooting at the best moment.

I exhibited in the Paris region on the subject of the Alpes de Hautes Provence then on the Carnival of Venice and Holy Week in Andalusia.

Since the advent of digital, I am currently in possession of a Canon 6D mk2, and a Canon 80D body with lenses from wide angle to 500mm.

My passion is particularly directed towards nature.  I am ready for photographs in the studio or not, for any quality service.

My photographer author status allows me to deliver limited original works numbered from 1 to 30, signed with a certificate of authenticity. Do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to acquire art prints on all the images presented here.
